In a very close 200m race, Elaine Thompson copped silver in 21.66 seconds behind  Dutchwoman Dafne Schippers who won the race in 21.63 in the at the IAAF World Championships in Beijing, China. Veteran Campbell-Brown secured the bronze medal with a season best time of 21.97 seconds.
