2 injured during altercation in Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale police are investigating a stabbing and shooting that took place Tuesday night. Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert around 11:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of West Broward Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered several individuals involved in an altercation, during which one man was stabbed and another shot. The investigation is ongoing.

Fort Lauderdale police have confirmed that both men involved in the stabbing and shooting were transported to Broward Health Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not yet determined if anyone was acting in self-defense. As of Wednesday morning, all individuals involved have been identified, but no arrests have been made.
