A 61-year-old woman is in serious condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital following a car crash and fire early Sunday morning in Miami. The incident occurred shortly after 1 a.m. near Southwest 17th Avenue and South Dixie Highway. Firefighters quickly responded to extinguish the flames after the vehicle caught fire.
The vehicle sustained extensive damage from the impact of the crash. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
