Dionne Warwick set to enchant Jamaica at Coveside Concert

Legendary singer Dionne Warwick will bring her timeless classics to Jamaica in a spectacular night of music at the Coveside Concert, set for Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Plantation Cove, St. Ann.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and six-time Grammy Award winner will be joined by an exceptional lineup, including Jamaica’s First Lady of Jazz, Myrna Hague, reggae singer Duane Stephenson, and the Queen of Reggae, Marcia Griffiths.

Warwick, best known for hits like Walk on By, I Say a Little Prayer, Don’t Make Me Over, and That’s What Friends Are For, will take the stage at 10:50 p.m., treating fans to an 80-minute set filled with some of the greatest songs of her six-decade career. Having sold over 100 million records and earned more than 75 charted hits, Warwick’s influence on music remains unmatched.

Joining Dionne Warwick on the bill is Myrna Hague, one of Jamaica’s most celebrated jazz vocalists. Known for her elegant performances and extensive international touring, Hague will deliver a soulful set, featuring songs from her critically acclaimed 1972 album Melody Life and selections from her recent live shows across Europe.

Reggae and soul will also be in the spotlight as Duane Stephenson takes the stage, bringing hits like August Town, Cottage in Negril, and Fool for You. With a career built on writing and performing alongside reggae greats such as Tarrus Riley, Jah Cure, and Beres Hammond, Stephenson is set to deliver a powerful set, including selections from his latest album Weekend Dude.
