The 2018 CONCACAF Women’s Under-17 Championship, which was suspended due to security concerns in Nicaragua, will resume play on June 6 at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fort Lauderdale.
Originally scheduled to be played April 19-29, at the Estadio Nacional, in Managua, the women’s youth championship was postponed after three match days due to civil unrest in the country.
Haiti and Mexico from Group A and Bermuda, Canada, Costa Rica and United States from Group B will dispute the remaining group stage matches from June 6-8.
The group winners, plus the second-place finishers will advance to the semifinals to be played on June 10.
The final and third place match of the competition will take place on Tuesday, June 12.
The teams are vying for a spot at the FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup in Uruguay.
