KINGSTON, Jamaica – Rising Reggae star Koffee continues to make waves internationally, as her hit song ‘Toast’ was featured on Former US President Barack Obama’s summer playlist.
Every year, Obama reveals a list of his favorite songs for the year with an annual playlist. Among the 2019 list was Koffee’s ‘Toast’, which was listed at number 28.
“With summer winding down, here’s a sampling of what Michelle and I have been listening to — some new, some old, some fast, some slow. Hope you enjoy,” Obama wrote.
She responded to the list on Twitter, saying “WOW!!! Gratitude really is a must”. Koffee is one of two Reggae artists that made Obama’s list this year. Toots & The Maytals “54-46 Was My Number” was also on the list.
