GraceKennedy, one of the largest food manufacturers in the Caribbean, is helping Jamaica’s ministry of health with its fight against COVID-19.
Grace Foods USA recently donated some 3,000 masks for rural hospitals in Jamaica. The shipment was accepted by Jamaica’s Consul General in Miami, Oliver Mair from Ms. Donna Callender, Community Outreach officer at Grace Foods USA.
The donation is part of a campaign with the Caribbean American Cultural Group (CACG). The Florida-based Jamaican charitable organization recently embarked on a donation drive to assist hospitals in Jamaica with personal protective gear.
The Group recently shipped barrels of medical supplies donated to the University Hospital in Kingston. The shipment included large supplies of protective shields, face masks, gloves, and quantities of hospital bedding, as well as personal care items for the facility.
