Beenie Man Rushed to Hospital After Fainting at Mother’s Funeral

Veteran dancehall artiste Beenie Man was rushed to the hospital on October 25 after fainting at his mother’s funeral proceedings in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica.

The deejay, whose real name is Moses Davis, was overcome with emotions at his mother’s graveside on Sunday and was later unable to stand on his own.

While being assisted at the graveside with his mother’s casket, Beenie Man collapsed and was quickly rushed to the hospital by guests at the funeral.

Beenie Man’s mother, Lilieth Sewell, passed away at home in September. She was 63 years old.

Prior to her passing, the deejay had visited her at the University of the West Indies Hospital in July, revealing that she had suffered a stroke and had been ailing for some time.
