Carnival reality TV show, Road Ready, airs on Island TV in February

The hit carnival reality TV show Road Ready is back, as we catch up with the charismatic cast that won our hearts in season one. For this new season, the crew will be embedded within Miami Carnival, canvassing the series’ signature blend of local charities, historical sites, and of course, the cast getting loose during carnival.

A new carnival isn’t the only news for fans of the reality TV show. Road Ready will be expanding its reach through a partnership with the South Florida TV network and online streamer, Island TV.

Island TV is a Black, women-led organization that began in 1996 to serve the sizable Haitian diaspora in South Florida. Recently, the network has diversified its offerings while maintaining its Caribbean focus. Now there’s programming in English, Haitian Creole, and French, covering a broad range of topics including breaking news, politics, and gospel, while also broadcasting films and television shows. The channel is not only available on COMCAST, but also on Apple TV, Google Play, Roku, Android TV, and Amazon Fire.

Island TV boasts a 53% female viewership within its core demographic and commands on average one-million unique viewers across all viewing options. According to Road Ready creator and producer Giovanni Moss, partnering with Island TV will be a mutually beneficial relationship. “The partnership will provide air time to our corporate partners and sponsors, and is a good tool to expose their products and services.” With Road Ready, Island TV adds another proven show to their catalog, and one with a wide-scale appeal to boot.

The new season of Road Ready premieres in February on Island TV. More seasons of the carnival reality show are in planning and pre-production, so follow along the show’s social media channels to find out when Road Ready will be spotlighting a carnival near you.
