A joint operation was executed by the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force and the Border Force, culminating in the detention of nine illegal migrants.
Diverse group detained
During the first phase of the operation, a diverse group of migrants was apprehended.
The group, consisting of one man, two boys, and five women were detained and placed in the Border Force’s custody.
The man is expected to be charged with harboring illegal migrants.
The second migration operation
In the second migrant operation, one man was detained.
According to police reports, he was previously deported from the Turks and Caicos Islands and will be charged with unlawful entry.
