Jamaica’s Prime Minister Andrew Holness left the country on Wednesday to attend the 44th Regular Meeting of the Caribbean Community’s (CARICOM) Conference of Heads of Government in Nassau, The Bahamas.
Holness is expected to return to the island on Friday.
Prime Minister Andrew Holness is to hold bilateral discussions on the margins of CARICOM with US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate Change, John Kerry; President of Afreximbank, Professor Benedict Oramah; the Director-General of the World Trade Organization; and the President and Chair of the US Exim Bank.
In the prime minister’s absence, Dr. Horace Chang, deputy prime minister, will oversee the Government.
