Thirteen people, including six women, and two children were taken into custody after approximately 600 pounds of compressed ganja was seized during an operation in Portland, Jamaica on Saturday, January 7.
According to reports, police officers were on the Long Road main road when they stopped the driver of an Isuzu motor vehicle.
The vehicle was searched and 600 pounds of compressed ganja, with an estimated street value of J$3.3 million was found.
The occupants, whose identities are being withheld pending further investigation were taken into custody.
