CLARENDON, Jamaica — A construction worker has been charged after several documents with personal information of other people were found at his home in Bucknor, May Pen, Clarendon.
Twenty-nine-year-old Rodrick Bell has been charged with knowingly possessing identity information of another.
Reports from the May Pen Police are that on January 17, at about 5:00 pm, the lawmen were conducting a special operation in Bucknor district when a warrant was executed at Bell’s house.
A search of the house was conducted, and several documents were found with personal information such as telephone numbers, names, addresses, and zip codes. It is alleged that Bell attempted to destroy the documents with fire on the approach of the police.
He was arrested and the documents seized. Bell was later transported to the station and was officially charged on Monday, January 20.
His court date is being finalized.
