Miami-Dade launches Small Business Saturdays

Miami-Dade County’s Office of Innovation and Economic Development (OIED) launched a comprehensive nine-part series, dubbed Small Business Saturdays, presented by STRIVE305. This series aims to equip local entrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools they need to thrive in today’s competitive market.

According to a press release the Small Business Saturday series will feature a diverse lineup of expert speakers and workshops, covering essential topics such as financial management, legal compliance, technology integration, procurement, networking, real estate, AI, marketing, and international trade. By providing valuable insights and practical advice, OIED seeks to help small businesses achieve their goals and make a significant impact on the local economy.

“We know that small businesses are the backbone of our community, and we are committed to providing them with the resources they need to succeed,” says Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. “Through this series, we hope to inspire and empower entrepreneurs to reach new heights and contribute to the vibrant business landscape of the County.”

The Small Business Saturday series will take place once a month throughout the year, with the goal of reaching 1,000 small businesses by the end of the fiscal year. To learn more about the Small Business Saturday series and register for upcoming events, please visit www.miamidade.gov/STRIVE305.
