As anticipated, Sada Williams will headline the four-member Barbados team set to compete at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The 26-year-old world bronze medalist is one of two track and field athletes representing Barbados at the prestigious event scheduled for July 26 to August 12.
Williams, who trains in Jamaica, will compete in the women’s 400 metres. Joining her in the track and field events is sprinter Tristan Evelyn, who will participate in the women’s 100 metres.
The team also includes triathlete Matthew Wright, who will compete in the triathlon, and swimmer Jack Kirby, who secured a Universality Place to participate in the Games.
